The Mince was perturbed to see that Diggers 80/- Heavy, launched in a blaze of publicity less than a month ago appears to have disappeared from the famous pub's roster of ales. Apparently the bigwigs at S&N weren't too chuffed to see their customers being given a decent choice of beers and stepped in to see that Stewart's products were quickly pulled.

Fear not - the Mince understands that a request for a pint of 'Diggers Heavy' may indeed be satisfied from one of the taps. Obviously there must be some old stock still to use up. Ahem.

However, that may be about the last bit of good liquidity news from The Diggers; The Mince learns that a creditor who recently arrived demanding payment at the boozer was paid off in readies out the till. That's what you get when you let a Hibbee run the place.
